WebThe determination of haemolysis is based on haemoglobin absorbance at 550 nm, with subtraction of the interference of Ag NPs. A significant difference was observed in washed RBC with Ag NPs at 50 and 100 μg/mL after 24 h of incubation in comparison with controls. A lower haemolytic effect was observed in whole blood than in washed RBC.
